F.R.I.E.S. is a privately owned and operated provider of commercial kitchen equipment repair and service, specializing in food service equipment and commercial appliances as well as HVAC and all forms of commercial refrigeration equipment. F.R.I.E.S. offers customized planned maintenance programs, new equipment installation, emergency repair, and refurbishing services to fit all of your equipment needs.

Tony Francis the Owner and President has been working in the food service industry since 1985. Tony channeled his sales, passion for customer service and hands on commercial kitchen equipment knowledge to launch F.R.I.E.S. into the commercial cooking equipment service industry in 1998.

At F.R.I.E.S. our primary focus is to keep your equipment running at peak performance so that you can keep your focus on providing your customers with an excellent dining experience. F.R.I.E.S. has an experienced team of TSSA certified technicians to support your business 24/7. Our corporate headquarters are located in Brampton, Ontario. We cover service areas throughout the Greater Toronto Area, including: Newmarket, Barrie, Orillia, Ajax, Pickering Oshawa, Cambridge, Kitchener and Waterloo.

In 2014 F.R.I.E.S. became a member of CFESA, the Commercial Food Equipment Services Association. CFESA is a trade association of professional service and parts distributors for commercial kitchen equipment. CFESA members promote the highest standards of professional service in this industry.


We have been supporting the foodservice industry since 1998. Our experienced team offers comprehensive 24/7/365 service across cooking, refrigeration, and HVAC equipment.

In 2013 F.R.I.E.S. invested in a new state of the art internal operating system in order to better service our clients. All of our Service Technicians are provided with Tablets that are synced directly with our internal integrated operating system. All work orders are provided to Site Manager upon completion of the service call for review and approval. Your
Site Manager simply reviews the labour, truck and part charges via the Tablet and then signs off on the Tablet with their approval prior to the Service Technician leaving the site. Time is captured at the time of signature.

We work with all of the leading equipment manufacturers. These factory authorized partnerships protect you and your equipment and increase your return on investment. Continuous manufacturer training and the use of O.E.M. parts ensures your equipment is operating efficiently.

We strongly support the CFESA training and certification programs. We provide our team of Field Service Technicians with continuous manufacturer training.
